Autosport (Snetterton, 20-Jul-2008)

"Battles raged throughout the capacity field during a frantic Production BMW race. Despite always having his mirrors full, Liam Crilly kept his nerve to clinch a well-deserved win. Dean Spurr headed the pursuing pack, while Robin Welsh beat Tony Smith to third by a whisker." -- Autosport, 24-Jul-2008

Autosport (Cadwell Park, 10/11-May-2008)

"The opening Production BMW battle, for Groups A&B, might have offered little in the way of overtaking, but there was a close four-way scrap for victory between Adrian Eddy, Stephen Markey, Dean Spurr and Liam Crilly. The quartet maintained station, but were never far apart.
In the subsequent race for Groupss B&C, poleman Spurr always had the advantage and third-place Crilly kept runner-up Rob Smith honest.

Autosport (Brands Hatch, 26-Apr-2008)

"A huge field of Production BMWs needed three races to encompass them, Dean Spurr outscoring Liam Crilly two-one on race wins. Spurr's victories both came at the expense of Robin Welsh, but it was Crilly's no-nonsense despatch of Mike Dugdale in Groups B/C that caught the eye.
Dugdale ousted longtime leader Crilly three laps from the flag, but Crilly reaserted himself next time round through the narrowest of gaps into Druids. 'I thought I'd closed the door,' said a bemused Dugdale.

Autosport (Castle Combe, 24-Mar-2008)

"Robin Welsh spent the entire Production BMW race within inches of Tony Smith's rear bumper, but the polewinner soaked up the pressure and edged to victory. The racing was just as close behind with Dean Spurr and Liam Crilly dicing for the final podium spot. Spurr took the place in a photo-finish as they squeezed through traffic." -- Autosport, 27-Mar-2008

Autosport - Club Classics 2006

"Liam Crilly wasn't always the fastest but he was the most consistent. Four wins and seven other podiums gave him the crown from George Haynes, who won twice. Martin Dower matched Crilly for wins but wasn't able to back up his victories with other strong results and was restricted to third in the championsihip. Despite problems, Alan Wileman managed to score a single victory as did John Thorne at the final round." -- Autosport, 04-Jan-2007

Snetterton - Another win and Pre-93 title!

So we're at the last race of the season and with the championship already won. No pressure other than my unbroken run of finishing on the podium at every race so far this year. I really want another podium today!!!

Oulton Park - Pole position to race win! (but not without a fight)

I've been looking forward to this for weeks. I fell in love with Oulton Park on our visit there last year and have been wanting to go back ever since. On the days leading up to the race I find it harder and harder to recall the circuit and reading the circuit guide reinforces just how difficult some of the corners are. On arrival at the circuit (the evening before the race) I'm disappointed with the brake feel as I manoeuvre off the trailer and so quickly bleed the brakes before walking the circuit.
