"A huge field of Production BMWs needed three races to encompass them, Dean Spurr outscoring Liam Crilly two-one on race wins. Spurr's victories both came at the expense of Robin Welsh, but it was Crilly's no-nonsense despatch of Mike Dugdale in Groups B/C that caught the eye.
Dugdale ousted longtime leader Crilly three laps from the flag, but Crilly reaserted himself next time round through the narrowest of gaps into Druids. 'I thought I'd closed the door,' said a bemused Dugdale." -- Autosport, 01-May-2008
